Rockford Xellerix speaker at the Dubai Airshow INCOSE forum /

The International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) will be hosting the first Avionics Forum in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at the Dubai AirShow on Nov 19, 2013 (in Meeting Room #4, 1st Floor).  The Forum is an all day event that includes presentations from industry leaders on market trends, avionics systems, and connectivity in airborne and associated applications.
Although this forum is focused on avionics, INCOSE is a much broader organization and applies to multiple industries where complex Systems Engineering and integration is required.  INCOSE’s mission is to share, promote and advance the best of systems engineering from across the globe for the benefit of humanity and the planet while becoming the world’s authority on Systems Engineering.
“There is a transformation taking place in the MENA region with respect to Systems Engineering across multiple industries”, stated Nauman Arshad, INCOSE MENA Ambassador and CEO at Rockford-Xellerix, “Complex integration programs are on the rise and as a result, a unified and standardized platform is required where Systems Engineering professionals can come together in order to learn, network and continuously improve their skills”.
INCOSE is a global not-for-profit membership organization founded to develop and promote the interdisciplinary principles and practices that enable the realization of successful systems. INCOSE has recently established a MENA Chapter as a focal point to help coordinate and grow memberships from the Middle East region.
“Integration of airborne electronic systems can become quite complex”, said Peter Lion, Managing Director of Rockford-Xellerix, “A better understanding of Systems Engineering principals can lead to shorter project time scales, better engineered systems and ultimately reduced project costs”.
Presentations at the 1st INCOSE Avionics Forum are expected from leading development and integration companies including Lee Betts from Rockford-Xellerix, and other renown speakers from PennWell, INCOSE, Wind River, Real Time Innovations, Curtiss-Wright Controls Defense Solutions and TE Connectivity.
